Bethan Ouseley BSC Hons MSc DC LRCC

CHIROPRACTOR

Bethan’s interest in Chiropractic began whilst completing a BSc Hons in Physiology at the University of Wales in 1995.  She graduated from the University of Surrey in 2001 with a Masters in Chiropractic. Later, she worked at clinics in Hertfordshire and Surrey before, returning home to Pembrokeshire in 2007.  Her research whilst studying won her an opportunity to present her research at the World Federation of Chiropractic Conference in Paris in 2001.   Post-graduate education furthered her knowledge in Chiropractic Paediatrics, extremity adjusting and other techniques such as sports kinesio-taping.  With the Royal College of Chiropractors, Bethan is a Trainer for newly graduated Chiropractors. Beth offers support and her wealth of experience when graduates first begin work.  She is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, and is a member of the United Chiropractic Association.

Being bilingual, it was a natural choice to return to her home county of Pembrokeshire to settle and raise her family.  Her sporting interests have evolved over the years from competing on horses to running races, cycling sportives and marathons.  This experience of intensive training has given Bethan an excellent understanding of the demands put on the muscles, joints and mind.  Her ultimate achievement in 2015 was completing one of the toughest events in triathlon – Ironman Wales. Since then, she is a self-confessed cycling nerd – analysing her cycling stats after daily training to become one of the top female cycling time-triallists (TT) in Wales.  She is passionate about the benefits of chiropractic care for both injury prevention and performance enhancement – “I never miss my ritual pre-race chiropractic adjustment!”
